What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a Senior Forensic Structural Engineer who brings both technical expertise and the ability to nurture and grow client relationships. This role is essential to our continued growth, and we’re prioritizing candidates who can bring in new business, generate immediate revenue, and drive our success forward.
What You’ll Do
– Build and strengthen relationships with clients, leveraging your existing network and professional reputation.
– Conduct forensic investigations across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
– Analyze structural failures, defects, and damages.
– Prepare detailed, professional investigative engineering reports, and provide clients with clear, actionable conclusions.
– Collaborate with our leadership team to identify opportunities for market expansion, and service innovation.
– Work with our leadership team to build on the groundwork.
Who You Are
Client-Centric: You have a strong network and a proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients.
Experienced: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or related discipline) and an active PE license (CA license preferred), with 7–12 years of experience in forensic engineering.
Business-Oriented: You know how to develop client relationships that drive revenue and fuel business growth.
Technically Skilled: You’re highly proficient in forensic methodologies and tools, consistently delivering accurate and reliable findings.
Ready to Travel: You’re comfortable with local travel and overnight trips (30%).

Position Title: Business Development Manager

Helmy Forensics is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who knows how to cultivate relationships and drive immediate revenue growth. We’re prioritizing candidates who can hit the ground running with established connections in the insurance or legal industries, bringing in clients that generate immediate impact.
Your Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in expanding Helmy Forensics’ footprint and revenue. Your focus will be on building new client relationships while strengthening existing ones, emphasizing direct sales to insurance adjusters, attorneys, and regional insurance carriers. You’ll work closely with leadership and our expert team to execute sales strategies that deliver results.
Your key responsibilities include:
– Developing and executing targeted sales strategies focused on generating immediate revenue.
– Building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders to promote all services.
– Leveraging existing networks to onboard new clients quickly and effectively.
– Organizing and attending client events, Continuing Education training sessions, and other promotional activities.
– Providing sales coaching and support to Helmy Forensics’ technical team.
– Collaborating with marketing to highlight our experts and service capabilities.
– Tracking and managing activity in our CRM to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring a proven ability to deliver results in a business development role, with a focus on revenue generation and relationship management.
Requirements:
– 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the insurance or legal industries.
– Strong connections with adjusters, attorneys, or insurance carriers in your region.
– Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
– Experience with CRM tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
